A Rich World of Anime Fantasy
The story of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II involves a civil war between the Noble Alliance and the Imperial Army. The protagonist, Rean, escapes the conflict but loses track of his friends in the process. He embarks on a quest to locate his missing friends and to bring an end to the conflict. The setting of the game will be familiar to anyone who has ever played the Legend of Heroes spin-off Trails in the Sky, as the game takes place on the same continent., and the plot picks up directly from the original Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. As well as the turn-based combat established in the previous game, this instalment introduces a new Overdrive mode that will enhance the gameplay.
